Yes. The BrightLocal API follows RESTful principles to ensure easy integration:

Standard Methods: It uses standard HTTP verbs like GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE.

Data Format: All requests and responses are structured using JSON.

Resources: The API is resource-oriented, organized around entities like “Clients” and “Locations.”
We enforce rate limits to ensure platform stability. These limits are based on the HTTP method used rather than the specific API type:

GET 300 requests per min
POST / PUT / PATCH / DELETE 100 requests per min
Authentication is by API Key.
